Chaco Culture National Park is the largest excavated prehistoric ruins in North America and was the center of the Anasazi Puebloan culture. Mesa Verde National Park features cliff dwellings where the inhabitants used the narrow canyon walls and natural rock impressions to construct communities safe from the elements and other less friendly people. Aztec Ruins National Monument allows visitors to explore the amazing structures built by ancient Puebloans.
